🧩 My Design Approach
My general approach to design, whether it is a new feature or to kick-off a whole new product – is to use the Double-Diamond method.
This approach is great because it provides a systematic and iterative framework which helps guide my thinking and decision-making process. It also creates an environment of problem exploration and solution refinement, which leads to well-crafted and user-centric design solutions.
Here I have outlined steps I would take to tackle a design problem, with examples of real work included from various projects.

Second Diamond - Design
This stage focuses on gaining a deeper understanding of the problem or challenge identified in the first diamond. It involves journey mapping, wire framing, testing, design systems and UI design.
The goal of this stage is to deliver a tested and iterated-upon design and align it to a design system. The design is then tracked against measurable KPI's defined earlier, and iterated upon to improve or test new design theories.

Conclusion
I’ve worked in many different organisation sizes, so whether it is working directly with a research and service design team, or doing the research myself to create a design brief – I am comfortable in either environment.
